Shaina was born and raised in Effingham where she graduated from Effingham High School in 1997. She later attended Lake Land College, where she received a Teacher’s Aide certificate. 

Shaina worked for a local daycare, as well as Head Start preschool, in between being a stay-at-home mom. When she decided to go back into the work force full time, she worked for Heartland Dental’s corporate office, where she obtained an extensive background in Accounting/Accounts Receivable. She accepted a position as bookkeeper at Orr Law in 2023.

Shaina is married to Charlie Albert and the two share 6 children and 3 grandchildren.  Charlie works for Steven’s Industries in their Maintenance Department.

The Alberts have recently relocated to the country where they spend time taking care of their many animals including goats, chickens, dogs and a giant rabbit. In addition, they enjoy attending the activities of the children, including school basketball and cheerleading. In their extra time, Shaina and Charlie enjoy traveling and being outdoors. Some of their favorite places to visit are Colorado and Michigan.
