Lindsay A. Savage graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in December 2020 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar after passing the February 2021 bar exam. As a law student, Lindsay was a member of the SIU Trial Team, a clerk for the Land of Lincoln Legal Aid Clinic, and a graduate assistant at SIU Evaluation and Developmental Center, all while finishing near the top of her law school class in only 2.5 years.
After growing up in the Chicago area, Lindsay attended Miami (Ohio) University where she graduated in 2018 with degrees in Spanish and History.
Lindsay and her husband, Alex Savage, relocated to Effingham with their labradoodle, Chloe, and became first-time homeowners. Lindsay and her husband welcomed their son, Alexander Parker Savage on May 26, 2024. She is actively involved in the community where she is on the Board of Directors for the Effingham County United Way, Heartland Human Services and Effingham County Chamber of Commerce. Lindsay is also the Public Defender for Jasper County, Illinois, and one of the conflict public defenders for Clay County, Illinois.
